Born, raised and educated in South Africa, Nikki is a multi-disciplinary creative based in Los Angeles, California by way of Nicaragua and New York City.
For the past 10 years Nikki has worked with culturally and socially respected international brands and organizations with a credited scope of expertise that spans across branding, art direction, print, digital and web design, photography, and content curation.
Her work has touched the industries of hospitality, development, retail, fashion, travel, beauty + skincare, food + beverage, media, film and non-profit.
The New York Times recognized Nikki as the “Art Director” and “collaborator” of a “mostly female group of creatives and trailblazers” responsible for opening the highly acclaimed New York City based restaurant, De Maria NYC in 2017; De Maria was awarded a James Beard Award for “Best Restaurant Design” in 2018.
Nikki is mentioned in The New York Times as Editor and Creative Director of Stella Spoils, a daily e-newsletter that reaches a highly engaged audience of over 250K subscribers.
